As wedding season is now in full swing, it’s time to get suited and booted with some fabulous designer clothes for kids. Blushing brides do need blushing bridesmaids as well as flower girls, pageboys and all the other little ones running around. In this two part feature today we will look at designer bridesmaids’ dresses.

White and Bright

Formal and traditional, this little bridesmaid dress is just stunning and perfect for any wedding come rain or shine. The Eliza dress by Nicki Macfarlane is a miniature imitation of Pippa Middleton’s bridesmaid dress at the recent Royal Wedding.

The Eliza dress carries all the grace that a little princess would need and despite Pippa wearing a McQueen creation, the little bridesmaids were all sporting Nicki Macfarlane dresses. The royal dresses were made from silk satin and organza, trimmed with fine English Cluny lace. Available from £265 for ages 2-12.

Non traditional

Not everyone wants to go down the traditional route; each individual has a different take on their wedding day. From Star Wars themed weddings to Zombie weddings there are so many different things you can do.  But who says you need to wear a frilly pink meringue to be a bridesmaid? Check out this cute blue polka dot dress from Lesy. The luxury children’s clothing designer has taken inspiration from Mini Mouse and classic 1940’s style shapes. Available for ages 4 to 12 from £209.95, this is perfect for your little one on the big day.

Baby

Have you got a baby bridesmaid coming along to the ceremony? We could not resist this absolutely gorgeous Sofia dress from Little darlings. It screams wedding and is just so cute your little one might have to wear it to every occasion.  Made with ivory silk and sequin bow, it’s also perfect for christenings and other events. Have your little rascals reached the age where all they want to do is dress up in your designer gear?  If you would rather you kept your nice glad rags for yourself, then children’s designer clothes could be a good compromise.

Little girls and boys love dressing up and playing a part, and clothes are a big part of the ‘pretend’ process.  Take a look at these versatile designs, all children will feel just as special as you do when you strut your stuff in designer gear.

For the superhero look a playsuit could do just the trick.  A playsuit from KissKatch has a cheeky and cool feel about it coming in vibrant raspberry and aqua with white toggles and a white hood lining.  Playsuits are also a good practical option for kids who like to run around and stay active, having the movement to play in a playsuit that can take the pressure.

Designer Children’s Clothes from KissKatch

For that princess look, a glamorous terry towelling strappy dress from KissKatch would look perfect.  This dress is practical too as it can be worn for different occasions, or to create a different character, when paired with other pieces of clothing.  A t-shirt underneath for example could dress it down; while a colder day could see you add some jeans underneath.

In every dressing up game of ‘families’ one child will get lumped with playing the baby, and what outfit can encompass this character better than patterned cotton pyjamas?

KisssKatch has some cosy PJs your little ones will be happy to go upstairs and get straight into bed in - the soft material is 100 percent cotton, and the bright red and blue designs make them the most fun PJs in the world.
