It appears the new trend for 2012 has nothing to do with floral print and lavender hues.  Actresses, singers and stars around the world are following the baby bump trend which typically involves 9 months of maternity wear shopping plus a huge shift in clothes size to match.

Kill Bill star  Uma Thurman stepped out in New York City this week with a brand new baby belly.  Looking fabulous as ever in a fitted dress the 41-year-old is expecting her third child and first with Arpad Busson. 

And the news continues with Gary Barlow announcing that he is due to become a dad again as well as Ben Affleck who has welcomed new son Samuel into the world this week.

David Beckham was spotted with pretty in grey - baby girl Harper - celebrating the launch of Victoria’s new collection in New York this week.

We loved Harper’s little grey cashmere dress. Grey is the black of children's fashion, it still offers a smart look to an outfit without the boldness of black. We picked out some of our own LGF’s that’s Little Favs for the mini wardrobe and some tips to help brighten up grey.

• Look for citrus or fluorescent shades which always compliment the flatness and formality of grey. Yellows and greens are perfect for preschoolers who enjoy fun colours.
• To soften up if you are not that adventurous stick to plain pastel shades which are great with any grey especially dark grey shades
